Wonderland series: “The guidance of stray souls” & ”Let your heart be the map” by Kirsty Mitchell
The “Wicked Witch of the West” (played by Margaret Hamilton) from the 1939 film version of “The Wizard of Oz” has become a standard for what witches look like and an archetype for human wickedness. Here she is represented as a stooped, green-skinned witch dressed in a long black dress with a black pointed hat. Studio executives cut some of Margaret’s most wicked scenes, worrying they would frighten children.

We’re really pleased with the photos we took for their offering. No doubt it’s partially because the Michele Varian Wallpapers look great with Laura’s pieces.
